Agreement to Receive Messages
By providing your phone number to a church using Holy Impact Media systems, you agree to receive text messages including:
- Welcome messages
- Follow-up invitations from church staff or volunteers
- Event notifications (worship services, small groups, community events)
- Baptism pathway information
- Occasional church announcements
Message Frequency
Typical Frequency
Up to 15 messages per month
Frequency Varies Based On
- Church activity level
- Your engagement with the church
- Events and announcements schedule
- Follow-up cadence
Opt-Out Instructions
To Unsubscribe
Reply STOP to any message
What Happens
- You'll receive one final confirmation message
- Your phone number is marked as opted-out
- No further messages will be sent from that church
To Re-Subscribe
Visit the church again and provide your phone number, or text START to the church's number
Message & Data Rates
Carrier Charges
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
Who Pays
You are responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier.
We Are NOT Responsible For
- Carrier fees or overages
- Billing disputes with your carrier
Carrier Disclaimer
No Guarantee of Delivery
SMS delivery depends on your carrier network. We cannot guarantee delivery due to factors outside our control:
- Carrier network issues
- Phone settings (Do Not Disturb, blocked numbers)
- Phone storage limits
- International roaming restrictions
Carriers Are Not Liable
T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and other carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

NOT Used For

- Solicitations unrelated to the church
- Spam or unsolicited messages
Two-Way Messaging
You Can Reply
All messages support two-way conversation. You can reply with:
- Questions about the church
- Prayer requests
- RSVPs to events
- General inquiries
Response Time
Church staff or volunteers will respond within 24-48 hours (typically). Messages sent after 9pm local time may receive next-day responses.
Prohibited Uses
You May NOT
- Use the SMS system to harass, threaten, or abuse church staff
- Send spam or unsolicited messages to the church
- Impersonate others
- Violate any laws or regulations
We Reserve the Right To
Block or ban users who violate these terms.
Compliance
- TCPA Compliance: We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
- CTIA Guidelines: We follow CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook guidelines.
- Carrier Requirements: We adhere to all major carrier messaging policies.
Liability Limitations
We Are NOT Liable For
- Delayed or undelivered messages
- Carrier network outages
- Phone compatibility issues
- Misunderstandings due to text-only communication
- Actions taken by church staff based on your messages
Maximum Liability
Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid (if any), whichever is less.
Changes to Terms
- Updates: We may update these terms at any time.
- Notification: Changes will be posted at this URL with updated "Last Updated" date.
- Continued Use: Using SMS services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
